Delivery Schedule

  • Next-day delivery cut off time:
    Monday to Friday: Before 12pm
    Saturday,Sunday & Public Holiday: Closed
  • * Delivery service is not available for the Outlying Islands.
    * Tung Chung, Discovery Bay, Sai Kung, please contact us (please link to the page http://www.farmer-markets.com/#!contact/c1og3) for the special delivery arrangement.
  • Local Public Holiday
    Golden Pig ("us", "we", or "our") cannot guarantee delivery on public holidays, as couriers may not be available. All orders that are affected are rescheduled to the next available delivery date.
  • Christmas
    Cut off time for Christmas orders will be 2 business days before Christmas. Due to the large volume of orders that we will be delivering for Christmas, we cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time for these orders. Rest assured, your order will be delivered as soon as humanly possible, but any orders placed after the cut off time may not be delivered until the next available delivery day after the Christmas holidays.
  • Delivery Time
    Orders are generally delivered by 5pm for business addresses and 7pm for residential addresses; however exceptions may apply based on geographic location of the order and courier availability. While you have the opportunity to nominate a preferred time of delivery in the special delivery instructions of your order, it is not possible to guarantee that these times will be achieved. For orders going to a timed event, we strongly recommend that you provide us with an alternative address so the parcel can be delivered elsewhere if the event is missed. We do not deliver to P.O. Box or locked bag addresses.

Delivery Limitations

  • Rural or Remote Areas
    We cannot guarantee delivery to some rural addresses and remote locations. To request a specific delivery time, please inform our staff while we confirm the delivery date. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. As weekend delivery may not be possible in most of these areas due to unavailability of courier services, delivery will be automatically adjusted to the next available delivery date.
  • Some deliveries may be required to be collected from the nearest station. If this is the case the recipient will be notified. Due to random scheduling and coverage of delivery route going to rural areas that is beyond the control of us, some orders may arrive 1-2 day(s) later.
  • Offices
    When placing your order going to a recipient in an office, please be sure to include the business name and telephone number, the name of the recipient and room number or indication of the area the recipient is located. You must include the hours the recipient is available on premise or whether to have the order delivery to the reception or administration office. As orders are likely to be left at the reception, we are not responsible for the safety or the remaining delivery of your order beyond point of drop-off. If no hours are provided, we will assume the recipient is available according to regular business hours of 9am to 5pm.
  • Schools
    Please consider when school holidays are when placing your order. Please clearly indicate the school name and if the recipient is a student or a staff on premise. As orders are likely to be left at the reception, we are not responsible for the safety or the remaining delivery of your order beyond point of drop-off. If premise cannot be accessed or the order cannot be left on premise leading to a second or subsequent delivery attempt, an additional delivery fee may be charged.
  • Private Residences
    The following must be included in the order information to ensure the success of your delivery: recipient's daytime phone number and preferably a secondary number of contact. Many private residences are not directly accessible by couriers and when it is not possible to leave the order at the office or security centre of the building, the recipient will be contacted to either retrieve the order at the entrance or assist the courier to gain access into the premise (usually by contacting the security office of the building to allow the drop-off). If the recipient cannot be contacted or is not available leading to a failed delivery, an additional delivery fee may be charged.
  • Hotels & Holidays Resorts
    Please indicate clearly if the recipient is a guest or a staff at the location. The following must be included in the order information to ensure the success of your delivery: Hotel or Resort name, room name or number and address. If the recipient has vacated or checked-out of the hotel or resort at the time of delivery, the standard processing fee and delivery fee will be charged for the order. If a different address is provided after a failed attempt for delivery, an additional delivery fee may be charged.

 

Delivery Terms & Conditions

 

An order re-delivered due to unavailability of the recipient or incorrect recipient information or changes to the recipient information, Golden Pig ("us", "we", or "our") may make request to charge additional fees and delivery charges on the arrival. Re-deliveries may be completed on the next available delivery date. For further information, please see the 'refunds & cancellations' section below.

 

Recipient Not Available
In case, if the recipient is not at home, does not respond when contacted, or does not answer the door when the courier attempts a delivery, they will either call the recipient to schedule an appropriate delivery time, leave the order with reception or security office of the building, or leave the order with a neighbor. We will not be responsible should the recipient refuse to collect the order or if the order is left on premise as a result of not being able to gain access into the premise, or left there at your request. We will not be responsible if the delivery is lost or damaged.
Should you choose to have the order left at the front door, left under stairs or left at front of house as the Delivery Instruction for your order, our courier will follow these instructions accordingly when possible. We are not responsible, and refunds or compensation will not be provided, should the order becomes stolen, lost, or should the products deteriorate due to weather condition or being left unattended, whether or not if we were instructed by you to do so.

 

Bad Weather & Accident
If Typhoon Warning Signal No.8 or above is in forced, all deliveries will be stopped;

  • If Typhoon Warning Signal No.8 or above is released before 11:00, delivery will be resumed in afternoon.
  • If Typhoon Warning Signal No.8 or above typhoon warning signal is in forced after 11:00, delivery will be stopped and postponed to the following working day or re-scheduled the delivery time by e-mail /phone.
  • If Black Rainstorm Warning is issued during working hours, delivery will be stopped and resumed until the warning is lowered.

In case of the sources of goods encounter accident, such as natural disasters or airport closure which cause a delay in arriving to Hong Kong and consequently local delivery will possibly delayed; local delivery will be re-scheduled upon actual arrival.
